Thanks Honey Boo Boo

Well, it worked!! I sat and enjoyed all twelve episodes of Honey Boo Boo up until the finale when June and Sugar Bear are married!! It is hard to admit but I actually cried when June and Sugie exchanged vows...scary I know. I must be emotional today with the break up but all in all that show makes me smile and it was just what I needed!!! It is so hard when you realize that someone was nothing like you thought all along.....But better I learned in three months rather than allowing him to steal three years, right?!?!?!

Then I went to my favorite place on the planet in the Winter and Fall! Trax Farms!! In the fall - their pumpkins and apples are the best and they make this homemade apple caramel dip that is to DIE for!!! I love me some Jonagold apples!!! I wanted one so bad I could not wait to eat one until I got home - I broke this out in the car!

I also got these at Trax....Concord grapes. They have a very short season and they are sooooooo yummo!!! My great Aunt Martha used to have a grapevine in her backyard and we used to eat these right off the vine when we went to visit....they bring back sooooo many awesome memories!!! Oh, to have those days back!!

Now that I am over forty, I can not figure out why I ever wanted to grow up....I would go back in a heartbeat! Miss those carefree and no responsibility days!!

The Final Break Up

 

So........

Last night it finally happened....

The night I have been waiting for...

The "latest loser boyfriend" and I have broken up.

I knew it was coming sooner than later and now, suprisingly, I am a little bummed and miss knowing that someone out there loves me but I am also kind of okay with it.

For those that dont know my history, I am recently out of a very one sided relationship. Waliacha moved in with me and then basically quit his job and started using drugs and it took me three years to get him out of my home and my life. So, now I am very guarded and have A LOT of bounderies.

I told the new man right up front that I had these bounderies and he was fine with it all at first. Then gradually he was pushing for more. I think he thought if he kept pushing then little by little I would give in. First problem, stop dating men that live with roomates as they are only looking for a roof. Anyway, I held my ground and he finally realized that I was serious about my bounderies.

When I went on my beach vacation, he thought I should leave him my key so he could come in and use my house and shower when I was gone (he and his roomates water was shut off at the time because the roomate did not pay the bill). I did not feel comfortable with that. So, he brings it up whenever possible that I did not even let him brush his teeth here....stupid stupid stupid!

I told him that the only way we would live together was in his home and that I was willing to wait for him to put his life together for that...however, I think he has finally realized that it is easier to cut and run and find a woman willing to let him move in with her.

Of well, single again...

FIrst questions for the new man will be...

1. Do you have a home?

2. Do you have a postivie bank account?

3. Is you car inspection up to date?

4. Are creditors calling you daily?

5. Are you passive agressive or do you have communication skills?

Is that too much to ask!?!???! PROBABLY, so maybe it is just simplier to stay single. HEE HEE...

UUUUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!

Soooooo, I am spending my day cheering myself up with a little Honey Boo Boo!!! I have about 15 episodes to watch...yippee!!!

Weekend Wrap-Up

I hope everyone had an amazing weekend~ Mine was fun-filled and jam-packed with excitement ALL weekend!!!

Friday night consisted of going to see my boyfriend's son play on his HS Football team. He plays for the Canon-MacMillan Big Macs. Their mascot is a strange looking man in a kilt (honestly kinda scary) and I think it should be a Big Mac itself!!! Wayyyyy better!!! (I tried to google a picture to show you how awful this thing really is and could not find a single image so next game I am going to get Jimmy to pose with him for a pic so you can see how awful this thing really is! - Seriously, not exaggerating!)

His son is number 67...he was right in front of 69 and then when I snapped the picture below 69 moved behind him and blocked my picture....but, here is his team HA HA.

They unfortunately lost bad - it was like 56 to 0 final score....but they put him in the game at then end and he got four tackles in a row! His dad's face was priceless when he heard the last name on the speaker over and over!!! Sooooo cute! He was a very proud dad!!

 

Then I headed to Columbus for three soccer games on Saturday! I got to watch all my nieces and nephews rocking the soccer fields!  They all did amazing! This is my niece Aly warming up!

The next morning the ENTIRE FAMILY  went to Hocking Hills in Ohio for a Canopy Tour. Mom and Dad got all of us kids and our spouses tickets for Christmas. It was soooooooooo much fun!  We got to play a little cornhole and hang out until it was time for our tour.

 

Mom and Dad (Memaw and Poppy) were the designated babysitters...here they are. They actually ended up letting the kids zipline on the kid course too! Thanks Memaw and Poppy!!!

We all went to dinner at Millstone BBQ after the tour. It was so awesome and absolutely perfect BBQ! We all had such a great time and it was amazing to spend all that time together as a family!!!! The only peeps missing were JORDAN and JESSICA and MADELYN (two at college and one with her aunt for the day). Thanks Memaw and Poppy!! We  love you and had an amazing time!!!!

Another Pic Dump

 Another photo dump! 
The easiest way to recap my weekend is by taking my Facebook pics and putting them into a post - so, here goes another photo dump to recap the weekend!! Hee

I work for the world's best company! On Friday they sent every employee, yes, EVERY EMPLOYEE a gold anniversary coin! AMAZING!!! It is our 150th anniversary! It is worth over $250 dollars and we all got them on Friday via UPS.  It is awesome and I am proud to work for this company!

Saturday morning I went to an anniversary breakfast for the Windover Hills Meeting and they had these! Well, other stuff too but isn't this cute?!?!? I had a great breakfast of pancakes, sausage and hash browns and then these! yummo!!!! A real peach and a delicious pastry peach! It was hard to eat as it was sooo cute!!!

I run on a trail near my house on days that I do not Hip Hop or Zumba and lately there have been so many deer soooooooo close. It is amazing - they just stand there eating trees and grass and watch me run past and never even flinch. Amazing! They are so beautiful - I love nature!

Saturday afternoon I went to a Pig Roast at my good friend Jenna's parents home. It was awesome! Her step-father is a Shriner and he is called Bubbles. In the pic below is Sleepy (her step-brother). They threw the nicest and most welcoming party at their home - it was great! This is a picture of the pig as they were taking it off the spit to carve. They did it themselves - so yummy!

And this is a closeup....really moist and delicious!! They really did an amazing job! Yum!!! We met some of the friendliest people there!

 

Jenna's dad gave my boyfriend's son, Matthew, a new bike! It was an awesome dirt bike and he was so excited!!! About 20 minutes after they left the party he texted me the picture below. Matthew loves his new bike!

And finally, hopefully y'all are fans but just a reminder....tonight the Steelers play at 8PM!!!!! Everyone should watch a little Monday Night Football!!

Are You Ready for some FOOTBALL!?!?!?!?  All of us Steeler fans are!!!! WHOOP!

Pic Dump

Just a little picture dump for an update - hee hee!!!

I am back with my baby. We have talked and worked things out so I think we are good to go from here.  He is such a sweet man!!! LOVE him!

Over the weekend I wen tot the lake (parents house) and hung out with my brother, his wife and their two kids. This is a picture of my adoprable niece and nephew ... this was his first time on the speed boat. He has ridden on the pontoon many times but never in the speed boat. He was a little freeked out at first but loved it within 5 minutes!

This is me (left side) and my sister-in-law with my nephew. This was his first ever tube ride and he was hilarious! He loved it sooooo much!! His sister, however, would not even TRY it!!! Can you say chicken?!?!?

This is my other nieces and nephew. They had their first day of school yesterday! Do they not look wayyyyyyy too little to be climbing onto that big bus?!?! Sooo glad I was not there - I would have been bawling! They grow up way too fast these days!

And this...is my delicious lunch today!!! My cafeteria at work makes the best personal pizzas!!! You can pick either regular or wheat crust and unlimited toppings for 5$!!!!!

Now I have got to go!!! A co-worker is retiring and I am missing out on free cake downstairs!!! Again, yummo!! HA

I am in such a weird space! I just want this week to be over!!

I am sooo totally over this entire week I cannot stress it enough!

Any one else feel this way?!?!?

I miss my dude! I think I made a really dumb split-instant decision based on baggage and fears from the past and, in doing so, I lost a really great guy! I was holding onto fears from my past with the last idiot and it caused me to get terrified and run away from a man that truly loves me for me - all my faults, habits and control freeky-ness!

We are meeting up later tonight and hopefully working out a way to move forward and try again.  He is such a sweetie and it truly would be my loss if he walks away.
Time will tell :-( Wish me luck!

On another note, I went out to eat this week to First Watch and got a delicious meal that I think I did pretty good in recreating! It is soo yummy!!!.

I cooked 1/2 cup chopped onion till soft then added 2 cups quinoa, 1 1/2 cups chicken broth, 1/4 cup of dried cherries, 1/8 cup sliced almonds. 

 

Let boil slightly till broth is all absorbed. 

 

Then I added the breast meat from a rotisserie chicken that I shredded and sprinkled some low fat feta on top to serve.

 

It was AWESOME!

 

Not kidding! Try it - you'll like it! And, it is a super food too!!!!!! YUMMO and HEALTHY TO THE MAX!!!

 

Happy weekend to y'all! Wish me luck getting my darlin back too! I need all the prayers I can get - I really did blindside him and hurt him pretty bad!

It's such a sad day...

You know when you know you need to do something and just do not want to?

That's where I have been for a few days now. It is all in regards to that man I was dating and recently I started noticing things would happen and I would worry and lose sleep over them and he would not. Not that I want him to lose sleep but I also realize that if you pretend a situation is not there then you never do anything to change it either. I have worked hard to get my life together and be responsible and live a certain way and I just decided that I cannot fall any deeper for someone that does not also feel this way.  Does that sound weird or egotistical?

I feel really sad though! We were only dating a couple months but I cared about him as a friend before that so I think the love feelings came faster and stronger. Oh well, I spoke with him in person about it last night and we are calling it quits.  I was surprised at his reaction as he did not even seem to care either way. He just said "thanks for the memories".  So it appears to be hunky dory with him. Is it wrong that I am upset that he was not upset when I broke it off? I think maybe I am.  Oh well, in any case, I did the right thing according to my gut feeling and that is all I have to go on. In the past, I would have stayed with him for a few more years because I do not like to hurt people and I would have been afraid to tell him I wanted to call it quits. HA....stupid I know.   Progress, right?!?!

Anyway, if you know any cute, sweet and established men......send them my way please!!!

New Boo

It's official!! I have a new Boo!!!

I am pretty excited! After the last idiot finally left I swore I would never date another man.....just go out with them and never fall again.

Well, I have officially fallen again I think...... :-)

I am sooooo happy so far!!!
