Thankful Thursday
Happy Thursday!!!
I am thrilled to be joining in on Thankful Thursday hosted by Rebecca Jo at Knit By God's Hand!
I just got back from vacation and my car broke down...SOOOOO...
I am thankful that the car is still under warranty...
I am thankful that the dealership gave me a rental to use until it is fixed. It is a BIG rental but a rental all the same! I feel like I am driving a bus compared to my Honda Civic. Th most confusing part is that I keep hopping in the car and looking for the start button buy you have to actually put the key IN the ignition...old school! But regardless, so thankful for my borrowed Caspian Blue (I am assuming it is named after the Caspian Sea??) Nissan Rogue! HA!
I am also thankful that I get to spend time with my sister and her kids this weekend!!! This weekend I will be heading to Columbus, Ohio - Saturday is her oldest daughters volleyball competition and then another dance competition for both girls on Sunday - so I am heading out there to help however I can! So excited!!! We get top try out the girls new changing tent too!!! YIPPEE!
I am thankful for each and every one of you that inspire me everyday with your posts and comments!! HUGS to you all!
Have a great and Thankful Thursday!!!! Hugs to you all!

Nice ride. Nissan's are good vehicles, but Honda's are better. We have a Honda and we love it.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous Thankful Thursday. ♥
I agree Sandee - I just appreciate the resale value of the Honda's more than anything. Have a great day!
DeleteGlad the car is still under warranty and you have a loaner to get you from point A to B. I am old school and specifically requested a key in the ignition versus button start when we purchased the new wheels in December. I hope you have a fabulous weekend!
ReplyDeleteWell, it helps you know exactly where you keys are right?!?! Now, in my Honda, I have to search forever to find my keys to get in the house! HA! They are ALWAYS in the very bottom of my purse! HA! Have a great day Robin!! !HUGS
DeleteI prefer this Nissan instead of Honda. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a good car also! It is just so big compared to my little Honda! Have a great week!
DeleteDance competition? I was a dance mom, I understand how excited that changing tent makes you ...
ReplyDeleteThat is wonderful!!! Go you!!! We keep trying to decide if we should get Dance Mom shirts....EVERYONE has them now! HA! It is fantastic to have a private space amid the chaos!!! HA!
DeleteIt is character building when you have to drive a different car but does make you appreciate your own when you next drive it. Enjoy the volleyball and dancing.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely is Andrew! I cannot wait to e my little, snugly and comfortable car back! Have a great day - HUGS
DeleteThe worst part about driving something you aren't used to is figuring out where everything is
ReplyDeleteYes - very true Ann!!! It has a back wiper and it took me (while I was driving) about 10 miles to find the button to make it wipe! HA HA!!! I have no rear wiper on my Honda Civic! Ha! Have a great day - HUGS
DeleteThat changing tent is a great idea! Let us know how it works out and how many others are jealous! That Rogue is very pretty! Love the color.
ReplyDeleteWe let a bunch of other girls use it too - it is wonderful! I also love the color!!!! Have a great week Terri - HUGS
DeleteHave a wonderful time this weekend! It sounds like it will be a blast.
ReplyDeleteThank you Stacy - I definitely will - have a great weekend yourself also!!! HUGS
DeleteI'm glad to see you back! :)
ReplyDeleteRicky just had to have his car serviced too & THANK GOD his warranty was still good - like, it expires in just a few weeks - cut that one close!!!
It is definitely scary when you start thinking you may have to pay Rebecca Jo!!! So happy his is covered too!! It can be SO EXPENSIVE!!! Have a great week - hugs
DeleteWell, we have an '05 and an '06 Honda. They're old and use keys!
ReplyDeleteHave fun this weekend!
Honda's will live forever!!! That is exactly what I love about them! And the resale is awesome! Have a great day Abby - HUGS!
DeleteSo sorry about your car. Have a great time in Ohio, sounds like it will be a lot of fun. Love that changing tent.
ReplyDeleteIt is a godsend Debby - especially for little girls that are self conscious and there are little brothers and Dad's everywhere! HA! Have a great day!
DeleteI love the color of that car! That's a nice rental. I hope you're having a great time in Ohio!
ReplyDeleteThank you Cindy! Yes, the blue is very pretty - I was surprised but I like it! Have a great day - HUGS
DeleteNice ride. Hope your car coes back as good as new.
ReplyDeleteThank you Patrick!!!! Me too! Maybe even better - HA! Have a great day! HUGA
DeleteGood to have a warranty. I had to laugh about using a key being old school. I am old school. My first experience of a non key car was when we arrived in Sydney Australia after a long flight. Me, hubby, daughter and her wife and their 7 month old son. It took us ages to get the luggage to fit in the car and then I got in and was like what? How do I get it to go?!
ReplyDeleteYes Wendy! I was so happy that it was still under warranty! That story is hilarious! That same kind of thing happened to me when I rented a car and could not get the gas tank open!!! It has a button to POP IT!!! Who knew!??!?! HA AH! Have a great day!
