UUUGGGGHHHHH!!
I am so sorry to be starting this post off on a negative note especially since I am planning on linking up for Rebecca Jo's Thankful Thursday!!!.....but I am SOOOOOO frustrated!!!
Some spamming idiot named Mark just left about 400 spam comments on my blog overnight!!!
I tried to delete all of his annoying comments and ended up deleting all of your amazing comments!
So, my sincere apologies that I did not even get a chance to respond to your comments from yesterday before they were deleted. UGH!!
Spammers and scammers - I hate them all! Why do so many idiots "get off" in life by annoying others and ripping off the hard working people in this world...
If there is any justice or karma...there better be a special place in HELL for these people!!! Mark...go to Hell!!! :-)
Okay - rant over!
I am thankful that this has been my dinner every night. Ruth's Chris is in my hotel and it is just TOOO convenient not to go there to eat dinner every night! HA! This is the grilled salmon!!! YUM!!! Not very healthy with all that melted butter but somewhat in the right direction with the choice of fish right!?!? HA!
I am thankful for this nightly ritual when I am out of town...I love face masks and eye pads but I can't wear them at home as the cats try to eat them off my face...seriously! As soon as they see one on my face they attack me to try to get it off...I think they think the are protecting me...anyway...I use these very night when I am staying in hotels!
And lastly, I am thankful that I have been soooo good this week with my exercise! I am going to the pool and swimming leisurely laps every night after dinner - sometimes even making time for a quick dip in the hot tub. My apple watch says I am burning between 750 - 1000 calories during my one hour of laps so that is pretty awesome! Especially since I snuck one night and got a lava cake to go from Ruth's Chris!!! YUM!!! 1000 or more calories though :-(
Here is how I hang my suit to dry each night - LOL! It is working well! HA HA!
Last night sitting in my hotel room I was craving bubble tea so I googled "bubble tea near me" and found an awesome little place called Bubble in Paradise. I drove there in the midst of a massive storm last night and found it is in the middle of the cutest little shopping town called Denville, NJ.
Since it was storming and this is an outside shopping plaza I just got my bubble tea and left. Hopefully if the weather clears up tonight, I will be skipping swimming and hanging out there tonight for a little browsing fun at the cute little stores.
And lastly, here is my desk today at work! Stuck in a closet today - UGH!! I should have stayed and worked from the hotel.
HA HA!
Have a great day everyone!
Thanks for all your great comments that I have deleted. Please leave more - I promise to better in protecting them in the future!!
Hugs to you all for visiting and reading...except Mark!
Anyone else have spamming experiences? Do they annoy you as much as they annoy me? UGH! Have you ever tried bubble tea? Do you like it? What are you thankful for?
Morning Ann. Looks like you've found a way to make work fun. The food, cake and pool definitely offset the sterile office setting.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Thursday♥
Absolutely Linda! I have to strive to make everyday fun...we get so few here on the planet! :-)
DeleteA nightly routine of Ruth's Chris, facial masks and cute little shops sounds more like a vacation than a working trip. Sorry about the spam and yes, they are so very aggravating.
ReplyDeleteRight Libby?!??! I try to make work at every turn! HA HA! Have a great day!
DeleteI get the spam comments too... I recently went through and deleted a ton from someone named "Alex". ugh! Alex & Mark can both get lost anytime!!!
ReplyDeleteI have to ask, what is bubble tea? I don't think that is a "thing" up here! (or maybe I'm just living under a rock lol)
It is tea (green, white or black) and milk (usually coconut or almond) with popping fruit flavored bubbles or large tapioca bubbles in the bottom! It is yummy and fun - you need to try it. I learned about it in Canada and now it is everywhere! Have a great day!
DeleteIf they are from the same person you can block them. That's what I do.
ReplyDeleteThe salmon looks really good.
Have a fabulous day. ♥
The salmon is really awesome there Sandee but as I said, lots of warm butter so maybe not so healthy! HA! I will try blocking next time! Thanks for the tip - have a great day!
DeleteYes spammers are a nuisance and sorry you lost all the other comments. I've never even heard of bubble tea. Off to google it!
ReplyDeleteSorry you have to deal with them also! Have a great day!
DeleteOk well I must have had my head in the sand as there are lots of places near me where I could get bubble tea but I'm not sure it's for me.
ReplyDeleteIt is so fun! Try it Wendy...you will enjoy it!
DeleteThe weather tonight should be ok, so enjoy your shopping
ReplyDeleteI hope so...fingers crossed! It is really crazy windy out there now! Have a great day!
DeleteWow that's a lot of spam messages! I have had a few. Mostly foreign ones. I ended up having to moderate comments in hopes that they would stop. It gets annoying trying to delete them.
ReplyDeleteThat's how I accidentally deleted the comments I really want to read - ugh! I turned on moderation for about an hour and he seems to have gone away. Fingers crossed - have a great day Sharon!
DeleteI'm scared to try bubble tea. it looks so odd to me.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the deal with scammers lately - mine has been up too. GO AWAY SCAMMERS!!!
Keep up that working out - that's awesome!!!
Bubble tea is awesome Rebecca Jo! It is really like tapioca on steroids and so fun to drink and chew the bubbles. I am sorry so many others are dealing with the idiot scammers too!! UGH! Have a great day and thanks for hosting!
DeleteI am so sorry this happened to you. I have been getting a lot of them as well. Sick of it and all are either dirty, racists or religious. I wish people would spend their time doing good as often as doing awful things!
ReplyDeleteI am in complete agreement with this Margaret! How is it that they sleep at night, UGH!!!! I hope you have a fantastic week! HUGS
DeleteSo sorry to hear that. I know we get so many calls and emails it's ridiculous. I know that Google has been working on these Spams for blogger. Yum on your dinner every night and way to go with the swimming. No I've never had Bubble Tea, I had to Google it!
ReplyDeleteYou would love it Debby! It is delicious! Thanks for the kind words always. HUGS - have a great day!
DeleteSorry to hear about the spammer. If I wanted bubble tea at my house I'd have to drive about a half hour, but when I visit Middle Son's family in California there are quite a few by them...and DIL has one almost every day so it's easy to jump on the bubble tea bandwagon :-)
ReplyDeleteIt is so yummy! How bad can it be, right? Tea, milk and boba! YUM! I hope you have a great week Kathy!
DeleteNot tried bubble tea, but a lot of people like it, so I should. I think we all have spam attacks at times. I have comment moderation turned on for posts older than one week, and that catches a lot. Interesting to hear about your life at your home away from home.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Andrew - I am going to do this now! Thanks!
DeleteThe spam comments are a pain. Most of them get stopped before they ever reach my blog. That's a lot to get all at once.
ReplyDeleteI changed my settings to moderation for older posts like Andrew suggested above - hopefully that will help! Have a great week Ann!!! HUGS
DeleteSo you're in Denville. I know where that is. About 2 hours from me and still near my sister. She lives about 30 minutes from there. I used to drink bubble tea about 10 years ago when I worked at a library near a restaurant that sold it. Haven't had it in a long time. Sounds as if your business trip isn't all that bad. Those spam comments are a real pain. I'm going to have to check out my comments again. I do it every other week or so.
ReplyDeleteWOW! Small world!! I love that town now!! My post today is about the awesome party the town square had on Wednesday night for Breast Cancer awareness! It was a blast! They had the whole town on Denville shut down for it! Have a great week Kathy!
DeleteSpammers or scammers...I'm pretty sure God's gonna deal with them all one day. :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you're having a pretty good time at the hotel...way to make the best of having to be away from home.
Nope, never had bubble tea.
You would like bubble tea - it is so fun to drink! I figure I need to entertain myself while everyone else who I am with is drinking wine in the bar - lol! Have a great day Stacy!
DeleteI really hate the spammers too. Get a life! Ruth's Chris!! I would eat there every night too! Yum! Tell us about the shopping at your new found place!
ReplyDeleteWait till you hear about the new place... My post today is about the awesome party the town square had on Wednesday night for Breast Cancer awareness! It was a blast! They had the whole town on Denville shut down for it and I got to venture into all the awesome stores there! AMAZING! Have a great week Terri!
DeleteThat salmon looks amazing!! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us at Encouraging Hearts and Home.
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading! Have a great week!! HUGS

Andrew told me about setting the comments to moderation for older posts so I will try that and if it does not work, I will go through the steps you listed above and try that! Thanks for helping though!! Have a great week! HUGS
DeleteSorry for the spammers. That sucks.
ReplyDeleteThanks Patrick - maybe I did a few things that will help next time. Have a great day!
DeleteSince I turned on the captcha thing I don't get anymore spam comments. So much better.
ReplyDeleteI've never had bubble tea, is it like iced tea?
It is iced tea, milk (I get coconut milk) and boba pearls. They are large tapioca-ish pearls that float in the bottom and you chew them! I love it - you should try it sometime. I just turned my blog to moderate comments on older posts so hopefully that will help! HUGS
DeleteThanks Ann for your comment on my recent post about unwanted spam. Unfortunately, it seems to be never ending and the most we can all do is be vigilant. How annoying to have received so many at once! Never tried bubble tea. As a NJ native, I know the towns you mentioned. We have family and friends in NJ and plan to visit during the holidays.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! I hope you enjoy your visit and pop into a bubble tea place - if nothing else, you can say you tried something new - it is such a fun drink! Have a great week Beatrice!
DeleteSpammers. Yes, I get them, but you really got hit with so many overnight!!
ReplyDeleteI delete them as soon as I see them, including the option to "delete forever." Not sure what good that option does me. There are plenty more where that spammer came from.
It is such a pain in rump Barbara! Have a great week - thanks for coming by and commenting! HUGS
DeleteIt is delish but very pricey! A tip is to go sit at a table in the bar between 4 - 7PM. They have special pricing and a special menu that is REALLY reasonable for happy hour and the only stipulation is you have to sit in the bar area - works for me! Try it during happy hour - you will love it!
