Good morning everyone and happy Tuesday!
I am traveling for work this week and so far, nothing exciting to post! Fingers crossed something exciting happens ONE DAY this week!
I am definitely hitting a meeting tonight after work so if nothing else, I will make some new friends!! YAY!
So, today I will leave you with my inspirational posts so far this week from my Instagram...I try to keep it positive and happy there! HA HA!
Always remember...
Perfection!!!
Words to live by...
And the inspiration that this too will pass...
A newscaster in the Pittsburgh area posted this picture yesterday. If you are not from Pittsburgh you probably will not think this costume is funny or cute. We love our chipped chopped ham in Pittsburgh and Isaly's is a Pittsburgh original!!! Sooo cute...lunch meat for Halloween! This just might be my costume for next year I love it so much!! Although, I will definitely LIE about my weight! HA HA!
I hope you are all having a fantastic week! I am off to catch up on your posts!
HUGS TO YOU ALL!
What are you for Halloween this year? If not you, what are your kids dressing up as? Do you like Halloween parties? Do you go to Halloween parties? Have you ever heard of chipped chopped ham? What is a food you have in your town that we should know about and taste?!?!
My costume this year is a purple scarf with a pattern of skeletons and jack o'lanterns.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! I love that you get into the Halloween spirit!! Me too! I love any holiday really though! Have a great day!
DeleteI have my candy purchased for Halloween but I don't have a costume. We are supposed to get rain here on Halloween night so I am afraid that will put a damper on the evening.
ReplyDeleteToo funny - my post today is about this exact same topic! HA! If i lived near I would be happy to come by dressed up in the pouring down rain to get candy!!
DeleteI got a pair of leggings with skeletons on them, and then I found a sort of white lace poncho on Amazon that is sort of skeletal looking, so I'm wearing that combo! I guess I'm a sort of skeleton lol. Looking forward to Thursday! :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great skeleton!! I love dressing up even as an adult!!! I hope you have a fantastic day Jill!
DeleteMy 1st time here and your post had me laughing. Love it!
ReplyDeleteHappy to have you here Lulu! Thanks for stopping by!!! HUGS! I hope you have a great day!
DeleteNo dress up for me and our kids are grown and I don't know what they are wearing. My grandson is going to be a super hero, but I forget which one. lol
ReplyDeleteLol Cathy! There are too many super heroes to keep straight these days! Have a great week!
DeleteI have never heard of chipped chopped ham. No dress up here and typically no trick or treaters in our neighborhood (no street lights, no sidewalks and passable by 1 car at a time in most places! The food would probably be Kite's Ham.
ReplyDeleteInteresting - I have never heard of Kites Ham but i am googling it now! Thanks! Bummer that you have no trick or treaters either. Chip chop is just thinly sliced ham really. Have a great day!
DeleteLove the Pittsburgh reference!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHope your work trip is fun and festive!
Thanks Billie Jo- me too! So far, nothing exciting! HA HA! Have a great day!
DeleteHave fun on your trip. The Bay Area has many different types of food and people just come here for the food.
ReplyDeleteWow - I may have to visit then soon! I love trying new food items. Have a great day!
DeleteOh my gosh, I grew up on chip-chopped ham. Our IGA had the BEST. I'm from central Ohio so not that far from Pittsburgh. Must be a mid-western thing. We put potato chips on our chip-chopped ham sandwiches!! That costume is perfect!
ReplyDeleteYES Terri! Potato chips are awesome on chipped chopped ham sandwiches!!! You get it!!! HA HA! Have a great day!
DeleteCute Halloween costume. I love the quotes you shared. I do not dress up for Halloween. No parties for me either. I do love handing out the candy at the door.
ReplyDeleteNo dressing up here this year. We were boring with no parties to go to lol
