Never Forget

I visited the 9-11 Memorial in NYC in 2015 and it left a lasting impression on me. We cried as we walked through and it is horrifying to think of what all those individuals experienced that morning...from the people that helped, to the people in the tower and the people on the planes. Simply so sad.

PLEASE Never Forget!

  2. The museum is intense, especially the parts where you're not allowed to take pictures. I cried my way through that exhibit.

  11. The memorial is a very moving and solemn place, almost silent except for the background noise of New York. Coincidence, we visited in July 2015.

  13. Someday I hope to get there. I have visited the Flight 93 Memorial several times.

I did a blog post years ago as part of a blogosphere-wide event. Over 3000 bloggers participated, each one was given the name of one of the patriots who died on 9-11 and we had one month to research them and then on the 5th anniversary we all published our tributes and linked to a central blog (that no longer exists). It was amazing and I will never forget a young man name Jon Richard Grabowski. I think of him and pray for his family each September 11.

    1. That is amazing - it is a shame that the blog no longer exists. We owe them all so much. Thanks for reading Stacy.

  14. I will never forget either. We were there in 2016. What I found out yesterday for the first time is that there were 11 pregnant women who passed away and they have their name and then is say's "and their unborn child."
