It's New Years 2016 in Kentucky

Hi everyone! Welcome to another catch-up post! This si a goodie though! I always have boring and dull New Years. Last year I was actually blown off on New Years eve morning by the guy I was dating - pretty bad right? My sisters family saved the day when they allowed me to come to Columbus and spend New Years with them! Last year ended up being amazing but I did not want to chance it this year!

So...I took matters in my own hands! When I heard my one and only favorite singer was having a New Years Party and concert - I knew I had to be there! I got two tickets and figured if the BF did not want to go, I would find someone that did - LOL!

So, New Years Eve Day off we went to Kentucky to see Kidrock in concert and ring in the new year with him and 30,000 other people! It was a five hour drive from Pittsburgh and we had beautiful weather! Stopped a few times for potty breaks and arrived with time to spare! We went to dinner at Waffle House (my first time trying one and I was not impressed...I like pancakes) and then got ready to head to the KFC Yum Center.

And the countdown started.....at 11:59 he came back on the stage and started the countdown. At midnight everyone kissed, etc. (not your neighbor...just the one you were with...HA) and then he sang Happy New Year!!! His version that is; which is hilarious and one of my favorites!

Throughout the concert I got text messages from this cutie wishing me a Happy New Year! That was great too!

And my phone sent me this reminder from last year's New Years Eve which is hilarious if you know the back story!! That's another blog post though! LOL!

I hope everyone has a Happy New Year in 2016! Let's all be happy, helpful and supportive of each other in the new year!

Thinking out Loud

I have decided to link up with a fun Thursday post by Running With Spoons called Thursdays are for...Thinking out Loud!  I am really good at random trains of thought so this should be one amazing post - Choo Choo!

It is Thursday and it has been a long week! My baby leaves tonight for the beach in Florida and I can't go! He has a house down there and has not been able to escape and get down there for a few months now. Things are slowing down in him company and are under control so he is finally able to get away from work long enough to head down. He leaves tonight and won't be back until the end of next week :-(
It is going to be above 90 degrees everyday that he is there...and he has a pool you can't see in this picture...yes, I am totally jealous and totally wish I could retire and go there!!!

I only have a little vacation left for the year so I am saving about five days to head down with him later in the year! Hopefully when it is snowing here in Pittsburgh! Cute house isn't it?!?! I have not seen it in person yet :-(

This weekend I will be spending quality time with my family - I can not wait!!!! 

Also, over the next two weeks I have THREE concerts at THREE different venues in and around my awesome city of Pittsburgh!!! YES-You heard me right! Lucky girl, right? Can life be any better?!??! Noper!!!!!  I think not!!!

Sunday night I have a concert with work friends! We are going to see The Steve Miller Band at the Highmark Stadium!

Then my baby is actually coming home next week in time for a concert that we have tickets for...

We will be seeing the amazing Rolling Stones in Pittsburgh next weekend at Heinz Field (the stadium that the Steelers play in)!!!

And then, as if that is not enough, we have tickets to go see my ULTIMATE FAVORITE PERFORMER EVER - KIDROCK at the First Niagra Pavilion! We have tickets 10 rows back and I am truly psyched!! I can hardly wait! 

I just hope my boyfriend still wants to be my boyfriend after he sees me in action at Kidrock! I tend to get a little out of control! LOL!!! I just love him (I guess I should say them...my boyfriend and Kidrock...HA)!!!

So I guess that truly is as random as it gets! I have a weekend with my family and then a bunch of ear shattering concerts lined up so I foresee a little hearing loss in my future!

Sick Baby Boy

Here is a quick video of the five baby bluebirds...I will not check on them anymore as they are ready to fledge soon and I will be cleaning out the nest within two weeks or so and getting it ready for the next batch :-) yippee!!!!!!! I stopped by on Saturday to tell them to have safe and happy lives!!! Here are my first five babies ready to soon head out and make their own families!!!

My sweet little boy Kidrock has been sick and we made our way to the vet today for a little checkup and medicine...he HATED it!!! He flatened himself out like a pancake and laid on the metal table with his little head down...they gave him two x-rays, 2 shots, catlax, and fluid IV's! $300 later and it looks like he is feeling better this am before I left for work-yippee!!!!!!! Here he is at the vet....LOL

And finally, this is my workout summary from class last night - the instructor is Leslie and she has a KILLER spin class...522 calories and 23.5 miles!!! NICE!!!

ONE MORE DAY TILL MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!! YIPPEE FOR ME!!!!!

WOW!!!!

Time flies!

Sadly, this is my first post since last weeks weigh-in.

I had my second weigh-in and I was down 2 pounds...I was a bit disappointed but then when I reflected on the week; it was not too bad. I ate A LOT of cheese last Sunday at my niece Madelyn's birthday party since I was starving and was avoiding cake - LOL!!! Also, I only walked two days during the week and that was slow walking.



So, to combat that and ensure a bigger loss (I know, Weight Watchers says stick with 2 a week but I like more than that! MORE MORE MORE I say! :-) ) I already jogged two days (Saturday and Sunday for an hour each day)...see, motivation...YEAH~

Anyway, we shall see how the rest of the week goes but I am off to a good start!

I wanted to give you some kind of photo so I will leave you with this....had an awesome dream about this man last night (yes, we were playing frisbee and hanging out in his back yard in Michigan and then his friend pulled me aside and said he has a crush on me - LOL!!!!! Oh, how I love a great dream!!!!!!!!)
