I found a really fun blog swap to join in on - I have signed up for a Valentine's Day Swap with Janna and Kenz at All The Weigh.

Concert Coming Up....

I am leaving in two days to drive to Columbus, OH and attend the Kid Rock concert with my little Sister...

I can hardly contain myself and I promise after this weekend - there will be lots of pics!!!!!!!

I have always loved Kidrock and now that his music is tamer and I am older....I still love him!! This tour is dedicated to our troops and is called Born Free...he is such a great guy and the concert is bound to be AMAZING!

I will report back on Monday with pics and details ....maybe the engagement ring after he spots me in the audience and wants to meet me!!!

Look out Kidrock .... I am coming for you and if you see me and pick me it could just CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!!! :-)

New Healthy Recipe - Kale Chips

I am ALWAYS looking for tasty and healthy new recipes and I am really excited to try this new recipe I saw on Newlyweds Next Door post today.

It is originally from the Kath Eats Real Food blog by Kath!

It is for Kale Chips and apparently they taste like a chip but they use Kale....you can season them in sooo many different ways and they are sooo good for you....you know I am trying this!!!

Pittsburgh's Goin to the Superbowl!!!

I LOVE my city!!!!
For anyone who did not yet hear...we won last night!!! YIPPEE - and now the Steelers are off the the Superbowl!!!
Pittsburgh is such a great and amazing city - I am sooo proud of my hometown and would not choose to live anywhere else (except maybe a carribean beach - LOL!!!!)
I did not partake of all the adventure shown in the photos here; I actually watched the game in the warmth of my condo with Waliacha on the TV...we waved towels and ate and had a great time cheering on our fav team!!!!
I just love our fans and city and had to post all of the following.....sooooo please....help cheer up on to win the Superbowl - go Stillers - n at!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hunkering Down

Well, we have been warned!!

Training Day

I am in a training class for the next two days for Six Sigma.

I am actually not taking the class but overseeing it.

The issue is that I am soooo sleepy and it is sooo hard to sit still for nine hours - oh well, attention must be paid...HA HA!

IT'S BACK ON - THE WEIGHT THAT IS....

Alright! Time to get honest and serious!!

Last year I was going to weight watchers and lost a total of over 75 lbs...I then stopped paying to go to weight watchers decided that I could do this on my own.

At this point, after getting on the scale this am, I have realized that I have put over 30 lbs BACK ON!!!!!!! This is HORRIBLE...I am sad and mad and ticked off at myself but I also realize that I have to now be honest and go back to tracking everything....so that is what I will do....

This blog has been a friend and a place to vent; a place to write on recovery and daily life; a place to document the lives of myself and my family members; and it will now be a place to document my weight loss SUCCESS!!!!

So, if you care to, join me in my journey where I track each day what I eat and my exercise and my WEIGHT LOSS weekly with a Monday weeky weigh in!

I am noticing a very scary trend and frankly it is terrifying for me!!!

I have tried three different grocery stores in my area over the past week (Giant Eagle/Foodland/Shop n Save) and also Costco and there is not a Pomegranate to be found!!!

What gives - I thought they were in season now???

I love love love these things and wish I knew what is up with this.....

Anyone else notice this scary trend - is there a shortage in your area?!??!?!

Jackson's Mill Weekend and New Pet

I was at Jackson's Mill (in Weston, WVa) for the weekend for a conference with my bestest buddy Sherry and it was AMAZING! I used to go all the time and I had not attended for the past couple of years - now I remember what I was missing!
We had such a great time!
The theme was Trust God, Clean House, Help Others!
What an amazing and fun-filled weekend with old friends and new friends - soooo much fun and fellowship and SNOW - it snowed wayyy more in WVA than in PA so we left a winter wonderland to come home to brown grass with a little frost - LOL!!!

I ate in the Family style Dining Hall most of the weekend with the exception of Saturday night when a bunch of us all got together and went out to dinner at Minards in Clarksburg, WVa. It was amazing food and fun also - here are all the pics!

And finally.....I got a new addition to my family on Sunday....his name is Cat Treat (he is a Crowntail Male Beta) and he is sooooo cute...I am teaching him to meow as I think that will throw the cats off and they will think he is one of them!
