Still On Break

Happy happy Friday! I cannot believe it’s Friday already. I also cannot believe that school prep starts next week. It’s been a wonderful and relaxing break. I’ve spent a whole Lotta time catching up on new Netflix shows and also a whole lot of time painting.

Here is a cute paint by numbers that I got in one of my subscription boxes… I think it was from the fab fit fun subscription box - but don’t quote me on that. Ha!

Here’s a close-up so you can see how tiny the numbers are…

And here is the picture zoomed out. I’m almost done and it was so much fun! I wanted to read a few books for fun but I thought it was best if I give my reading eyes a break.

Here’s all the things the kids come with. A bunch of different colored paints that obviously are numbered and also multiple brushes to use depending on the size of the area you’re painting.

The paint by number said it would take 12 hours. Mine took way longer than that… This could be one of the reasons. Every time I’m doing something at the kitchen table one by one all the cats come to visit. The last thing I need is a cat paw in my paint and then have them running all over my house. Lol!

Thanks again for all the supportive comments on my post on Nermal. He’s doing really great with the shots and he’s eating the food he supposed to so fingers crossed I think we’re on the upswing. In the picture above is Trouble.

Have y’all ever done a paint by number? How did it turn out? What other arts and crafts do you enjoy? Do your pets have to get involved in everything you’re doing also?

Have a happy happy Friday! Love you all - hugs!!

Back from an Unintended Corona Break

Here's to hoping that I even have any followers left!

Hi everyone.

I am ready to get back into the blogging world again after pulling my head out of the sand!

I missed you all so much!

My last post was written right before I left for Florida to visit my parents for week in March this year.

I arrived and promised myself I would enjoy the vacation away and simply create and save all my blog posts to drafts  (for safety's sake you know).

Well, rumblings were going around the two days before I got on the plane that there was a strange virus that was circulating around the world....my mother convinced me it was fine to still fly down so I did. I flew into Orlando on March 10th on a plane full of others people that were just as anxiety-ridded as I was. My brother in law told me to wear a mask at the airport and on the plane but no one else had on one so I did not.

I arrived and all hell broke lose at home. Not in Florida, mind you, but at home.

Things were very chill in Florida compared to what was happening in my home state of Pennsylvania!! My friends and co-workers all all texting me telling me they were sent home from work to work from home and also had to shelter in place.  They said you could not find toilet paper or sanitizer anywhere. I was terrified as I was not there in person and I had not stocked up on anything, food or otherwise. In Florida, it was just normal day to day at The Villages. Around March 15th things started to hit Florida and we noticed that wipes and toilet paper were empty there too. HA! Of all things....UGH

My sister, her family and myself all flew home on March 20th. We all had masks on the plane....almost everyone!  I got home to no food and reduced grocery store hours and products. Also, I was down to two rolls of toilet paper. Thank goodness I have wonderful neighbors that shared.

To everyone that hoarded; WOW is all I can say. It is super clear to me that if we have a true world disaster it will be every person for themselves. At least in my state...I think people will not have to buy meat or toilet paper for the next four years!!! UGH again!

So I dropped off the world and dealt with all that has come the past three months.  Crazy, crazy, crazy to say the least.

I hope you have all sheltered the storm as well and I am now going to begin to catch up on all your blogs.

Like I said, I missed you all but I was completing home projects and I honestly think I was too anxiety stricken to post??? I hope this makes sense.

I look forward to again becoming an active part of the blogging community. Thanks for all the understanding on my "Corona" break and I promise lots of posts to at least show you all my home projects I completed.

I got a lot of projects completed on my condo so when I lose my job and get a new one; I will be all ready to sell the condo and buy a townhouse. Yippee to that at least.

Hugs to you all!!! MISSED YOU ALL!!!

Where Have I Been?

Wow guys!!! It has been a hot minute since I posted or even read blogs.

I had a little holiday melt down and needed a break.

I had every intention to blog each day of the cruise I took in mid-December but that ended up being a hot mess!!! I hated every second of it! UGH! That will be a whole post but I am sure you would not have liked to hear me griping and crying every day! It was that awful!!! UGH again!

Then I got home and Christmas hit like a ton of bricks. I was driving all over and trying to get things in order and then same issue for New Years.

After New Years, I got sick...yes, I got that horrible hacking cough for the next two weeks! It was the sickest I have felt in a LONG time!!!!

So here we are...back to work to finish out a few months before my site closes and I have to look for a new job. Fingers crossed that goes well when the time comes...

Also, I have started back to exercise! I re-joined barre classes near work and I am AGAIN obsessed!!!

So, today let me tell you how important I think it is to have supportive and motivational people around me....

I was attending barre at a studio about 6 years ago and I LOVED it!! I could not wait to go everyday!! Everyone was super supportive of each other and it was a bunch of women encouraging each other daily! Then the studio was purchased by two young women that turned it into a catty, awful place. I can not explain everything but the whole dynamic of the studio changed. If you were not part of their group then you were just money coming in the door and you were not treated like the "friends". I hit my 250 classes and no one even remembered. They are supposed to make a big deal out of it and they did not AT ALL. But, when their "friends" hit 250 you woudl have thought the Pope was attending class! HA HA! Anyway. I was paying WAY too much money to feel like I was second best.

So, fast forward to this year! A new studio was opening in Robinson Township near my work so I re-joined! I LOVE it again! YAY!!!! I am attending two classes each day if I can. This morning I did the 5:30AM Empower and then the 6:30 Classic. Then to Starbucks for my free January coffee and to work.

If you all have never heard of this cup I will let you in on the secret!

Every year for Christmas my sister gets me this mug from Starbucks.

In December, Starbucks sells their January Refill mug for $40. You can use it yourself of gift it. The owner gets an awesome metal travel mug and one free brewed coffee or tea refill everyday!!!! EVERYDAY FREE!!! It is amazing if you drink plain coffee or tea! I love mine and get my free cup everyday! SCORE! My sister rocks!!!!

Also, just an update for those that follow my blog...

The dog owners still habe their dog!!! We (the Condo Board) have sent two fines (each for 4500) and they are not abiding by the rules and getting rid of the dog so we are now waiting to hear from the lawyers. UGH UGH UGH!!!!! Hopefully they wil give us direction on what to do next.

Okay, well, I apologize for the quick disappearing act but I promise I am back. Now, I am off to find out what all of you have been up to. I have missed you ALL!!!!

HUGS!!
