Enjoy heading over the hump to Friday today!!!
This is going to be a totally random post of pictures from quarantine.
I think I will be catching up on posts for months to come.
I spent a TON of time snuggling with my cuties these past few months.
The kids were so happy to be outside fishing!
I think my Dad (Poppy) was too!
I warned my nieces and nephews of this. Once we were allowed to hug it was a struggle to let go!
My Dad volunteered to cut my nephews hair - he did a great job. There were no other takers....HA!
The cats had a ton of catnip parties!!
My and my parents went over to my Aunts house to stain her deck. My Mom power-washed the weekend before and then we spent the day staining it. This is the deck before staining but after power-washing. Little note here - my dad built this deck for her. He is a retired engineer and his building skills are amazing!!
That's Dad!!!! Left side of the picture is after stain...
There's Mom! She is an unbelievable worker at 76!!! Both of my parents have stayed super active and that is why they are so healthy now. Fingers crossed they will be with us for many more years!!!!
We also played a lot of games at my parents house! LOL! So much family bonding fun! That is my little sister in the lovely hat! HA
And lastly, big cat in little house! LOL!! HA!!!
You can see Mom was!!
More snuggles...
Hugs to everyone!!! Happy Wednesday!!!
Are you working from home? I saw my mom for the first time in awhile yesterday. Nice to see her in person!
ReplyDeleteYes, I am working from home still. Since the office is closing in December and we will be losing our jobs in September; we will not be going back at all. I LOVE working from home!!! HUGS
DeleteLoved sharing some quarantine moments with you!
ReplyDeleteYour parent's deck looks amazing!
Stay healthy down there.
Up here we are starting to see more cases pop up.
Stay safe Billie Jo! Hugs to you!
DeleteThat trail of slippers is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. Who can understand the mind of a cat?
ReplyDeleteRight?!?! I would love to know what they are thinking so many times!! HA! Have a great day Kathy!
DeleteGreat photos! I think my Mum is missing the human contact more than she thought she would. One sister is visiting her, but no hugs or kisses or touches. I imagine it's very lonely.
ReplyDeleteIt is super hard to do this no contract thing - hopefully soon it will begin to go the other way and we can touch again! Have a great day Sharon! HUGS
DeleteFun photos and thanks for sharing all the love with us. The deck looks great! Your fur babies are so funny. We finally saw Lucy emptying the cat toy basket and then walking away. Vinny then starts whacking them around and under furniture. Caught in the acts!! Too funny about your slippers. Yes to a camera!!
ReplyDeleteLOL Terri! That is hilarious - so they are partners in crime! HA! Have a great day!
DeleteSigh... I guess I’m of the age when 76 still seems young to me. You sure look like you’re all keeping busy. Time seems to be flying. You’d think it would drag by. I love your little poster about touching your face.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day Kay! HUGS
DeleteGlad everyone is keeping busy...now just be sure to stay healthy and wear masks when you go out.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, we definitely do. We go out to church every weekend and wear masks the entire service. Glad you are safe also!
DeleteVery nice pics. Thanks for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteThank you for coming by Patrick!
DeleteWhat fun pictures you shared! It looks like you have been keeping busy. Be well and stay healthy!
ReplyDeleteThank you Robin - same to you! HUGS
DeleteThat's the thing I miss most I guess: the physical contact. Even though I live with my parents, we are not huggers and I did really start to miss it.
ReplyDeleteMe too Mara!! I think we are all in that same boat together!!! Hopefully hugging can come back soon! have a great day! BIG HUGS to you!
