Saturday in Pittsburgh was lovely and Sunday was, well, less than lovely! HA!
Saturday it was about 71 and sunny and then Sunday the temperature dropped drastically and it began to flurry! What?!? Yes, I am so over the snow at this point.
So I hunkered down and did not leave my condo for the entire day! HA!
I did get a lot done as far as cleaning and making new items for my Etsy store though.
Here are a few of the new creations for sale...
Framed flowers in vases
Jellyfish
Sea Turtle
Gone Fishing
Bikini's on the Line
All of the pictures above are made with genuine beach glass that I personally found. Also, all are exactly as pictured. You will get the exact art you see in the listing with the exact frame shown.
I can also customize anything you want...just ask!
I hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed week! HUGS!
Thanks for stopping by! I am a Pittsburgh girl - born and raised! I blog about my city, travel, weight loss, recovery, family, and life in general! I love the Steelers, coffee and my cats! I took a crappy job shutdown and turned it into a positive mid-life pivot - I am now attending nursing school - set to graduate in December 2022!!! Please make sure to comment and let me know you were here...I love making new friends!

New Beach Items and Thankful Thursday
Hi everyone!!! I hope you are having a fantastic week so far. We’re almost there guys… Friday is around the bend!
Today I am joining in wiht Rebecca Jo for her Thankful Thursday! You can join in here!!
Today I am so very thankful for my neighbors. I live in a condo and on my floor there are three other condos. We share a common hallway and I love every one that shares that floor! I realize how very rare this is...our other neighbors drive us all crazy so it is awesome that all four of us get along so well and look out for each other! I am so blessed to have them close by. Two of us are single women living alone and one has a son and the other lives there with her husband. It is such a great group and I am thankful and blessed to have them there for me!

And Here...

This shows how small and delicate they are!!!

And here is what they look like when they are in. So super cute I think!!!!

Check it out if you are looking for gifts for the upcoming holidays!!! I would love to make something for you!!!

I spent some time last night creating a few new crafts for my Etsy store!
I wanted to try to create some wind chimes out of my excess beach glass. This is my beach glass that is recycled an eco-friendly. They are larger pieces so I figured they would be perfect to create wind chimes. They turned out great! I was just going to make some for my home but since they turned out so well I’m now going to sell them in my Etsy store!
Here are two I have created so far!!!
And Here...
Also, I wanted to try to create sand dollar earrings with some baby sand dollars we got at the beach this summer..they also turned out sooo good here!!!

Thinking out Loud About Plumbing Again/Thankful Thursday Crafting
Today I am joining in with Penny for Thinking out Loud Thursday HERE and Rebecca Jo, at Knit By God's Hand, for Thankful Thursday HERE. Please link up and join us today!!
Well friends - today I am still thinking out loud about plumbing! If you did not read my post last week in this regard...here is a summary! I got a new dishwasher and my neighbor got a new leak! I kept insisting it was not me and asking him to get a plumber to come check it out. How does a new dishwasher leak within a week of install?!?! Well, they do! It was me! So we shut off my water and called Lowe's which is who I purchased from and who also installed it for me. They came out yesterday and repaired my one week old dishwasher!!! UGH!!! I am praying this is it for the issues but time will tell. My neighbor is now getting an estimate to fix his water damage and I will submit that to the Lowe's claim to pay it since it was their issue. UGH UGH UGH! I will keep you posted but I will truly be happy when I am not thinking out loud about appliances - HA!
Here is a picture of the broken part! It is where the fresh water comes into the appliance. The GE installer said that the Lowe's installer did it wrong and there is not supposed to be any of that white goop on there?
Let's get right to thankful shall we?!?!
I am sooooo thankful that I have crafting to take my mind off the stress of everyday life!!!!
Here is a new item in my Etsy shop...it is a Christmas tree with beach glass!!! The star in the top is a genuine Michigan beach crinoid which is a fossil that is 350 million years old! It turned out so great - I love it so much!
Also, If you follow along with my blog you know that a very dear friend (and ex-boyfriend) of mine had multiple strokes back in July. I am very thankful that he is recovering fairly quickly. His writing is coming back slowly and vision is also coming back slowly but everything else is looking great! His walking is getting better and better and speech also. He is thinking clearer and quicker also. I think the scare a few weeks ago made him realize that I am serious about not being around if he chooses to make bad decisions and, although time will tell, I think maybe we are past that. He is not smoking anymore I know that for sure.
So I am very grateful that we were able to go to dinner last night at one of his favorite restaurants for his 63rd birthday! YEAH!!! A few months ago we were not sure he was even going to live so I am also very grateful for a second chance at life for him and who knows...a second chance for us?!?!! We went to Dellalo's on Fort Couch Road in the South Hills of Pittsburgh and it was as fantastic as I remembered it. YUMMY ITALIAN! They make such great Italian sauces and products; they started selling them in the stores in this area.
I think that is all I have to spout about this beautiful Thursday!
I love all of you my blog followers and hope you guys have a truly awesome Thursday and rest of the week! I do not know what I would do without this outlet to vent!!! Now I get to read all of your thoughts!!! Happy Thursday!
Anyone have any ideas for new beach glass art? Have you ever given an ex a second chance?? Every buy an appliance that had to be serviced the first week after install??? Any exciting plans for the weekend???

Nutrition and Beach Glass Art
Does anyone else struggle to get back into life after vacation?!?! I am joining in with Wellness Wednesday to discuss my "FUNK"-LOL!
I swear it takes me a while week to be able to get focused and back into work and life. I guess that means I was relaxed...not sure?!?!
Well, I have been back for three days now and I am on the struggle bus!! I just want to return to the beach!!!
I have gotten back into having my spinach and kale shake in the mornings and I am feeling more energy from them I think. Does anyone else have a nutrition shake during the day? I also added collagen peptide powder in my coffee and a turmeric pill every day for inflammation and pain in my joints. In case you are new to my blog, I have psoriatic arthritis and my knees are shot due to many years of running overweight and the degeneration and arthritis.
Here is the contents of my shake...
Kale-about 1 1/2 cup compressed
Spinach-about 1 1/2 cup compressed
2 T (flax seed, chia seed, hemp seed, gogi berries) I have these all mixed together in equal parts in a Tupperware.
1 T beet powder
1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
add water to fill and then grind on the nutrabullet
Here is the finished product as I am drinking it at work!!
It tastes okay and I know I am getting the nutrition I am looking for from it. I would love to hear what you use in your shake!! My sister makes shakes for her kids and uses yogurt...I am not a sweet shake kind of girl. Any ideas on what I could add would be appreciated!
The one thing that is keeping me together this week is my new art projects!!! I started making these adorable beach glass art pictures in frames. I am using all of the glass I have collected over the past few years at the Great Lakes and Oceans on vacation! I think everyone in my family wants one now but here are a few of the examples I have made so far!!!! They are in my ETSY HERE!!!
I hope everyone has a great day!!!! I cant wait to read all of everyone elses posts!!!
Anyone else have a nutrition shake each day? What do you put in yours? Anyone else collect shells or glass at the beach?
